Emeritus-Bracara Route
A Roman road that crossed Extremadura (Spain) and Beira Baixa (Portugal) was known as the "Emerita - Bracara" road crossed the Tagus River on the Alcântara bridge, coming from Mérida. then crossing the territory "Igaeditani" (Known today as Idanha-a-Nova).

1st Day.
The journey starts from Castelo Branco
Our guide will take a guided tour of "Castro Leuca"
Then we will head towards Idanha-a Nova (Lunch)
After lunch we will visit the town of Idanha- a- Velha antiga (Egitânia) and the historic village of Monsanto
At the end of the day we move to Spain (to have dinner and rest at the hotel)
Day 2:
We will start by enjoying an invigorating breakfast,
We will visit the Convent of San Benito and the Roman Bridge of Alcántara, elected as "Best Corner of Spain 2014" in the Repsol Guide, among other places.
We will have lunch and enjoy the cruise on the Tagus Boat with a route on the Alagón River enjoying the wonderful landscape surrounded by cliffs, the Ceclavín waterfall and contemplating the griffon vultures that will accompany us along the way.
In addition, a guide specialized in nature will give a nature lesson interpreting the fauna, flora and history of the territory, in which the passenger also participates.
