The "Mestre Cargaleiro" route can start in Castelo Branco as well as in Seixal

Manuel Cargaleiro is one of the last painters who was part of the well-known Paris school and the lyrical abstractionism movement. His works are found in various places around the world, with a public work in Portugal at the station of the military college but also in Paris.

Day 1

Departure from Castelo Branco

9:10 Guided walking tour of the historic area of Castelo Branco

10:15 Guided tour of the Embroidery interpretation center

11:15 Visit to the Manuel Cargaleiro Foundation

14:30 boat trip at the gates of Ródão (boat tour schedule can be changed)

15:30 departure towards Seixal
